Last day of my cherry shots. I am continuing the theme of clicking one food item for another week. Next week will feature coffee shots 🙂
Suddenly I am being again inspired by bokeh and whole of next week I am shooting food shots inspired by film and bokeh. Hope you like them.
Recipe – Cherry Brownies
100 gms dark chocolate, chopped
1/4 cup salted butter, if using unsalted add 1/4 tsp salt
1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1 tablespoon espresso powder
1 tsp vanilla
3/4 cups granulated sugar
1 cup all-purpose flour
1 cup fresh cherries, pitted, and diced
Melt together the dark chocolate and butter. Stir in the cocoa powder and espresso powder and set it aside. Beat together the eggs and sugar till light and fully. Add the chocolate mixture and fold it in. Add the vanilla essence.
Fold in the flour and then the cherries. Bake it in a greased tin in a preheated oven at 175C for about 25 minutes. Don’t over bake, it should still be slightly gooey at the center.
